If you would like to experience a thrilling ride through the treetops and sometimes the clouds, come travel with us on one of the attractions that make Costa Rica famous. Arenal Ecoglide Park, accessed through La Fortuna, is one of Costa Rica’s newest adventure parks. This zip line is built following the highest standards, approved by I.C.T. (Instituto Costarricense de Turismo) and insured by I.N.S. (Instituto Nacional de Seguros) providing major security to our customers. Arenal Ecoglide Park is known for having two separate cables. The first cable is the one you glide on, the second is for additional safety. The zip line consists of 13 cables and 15 platforms that are divided into three sections found mostly in the trees, and these platforms are designed to provide our visitors greater contact with nature.
One of our major attractions is the Tarzan Swing. You will forget about work, and all your worries will disappear while you enjoy your vacation flying through the trees like Tarzan.
The canopy zip line tour not only offers you a great adventure but also an opportunity to observe all the animal life in its natural habitat. Each platform has been designed so that you can observe the forest from different angles allowing you to photograph the impressive scenery. Discover what adrenalin really means to nature lovers.
Our Tour is divided in 2 sections.
- The first section has 8 cables and 9 platforms, with lengths from 10 meters up to 110 meters.
- The second section has 5 cables and 6 platforms, with lengths from 100 meters up to 430 meters. At the end of this section you will find the Tarzan Swing.
- Duration: 3 hours
- Rate with Tarzan Swing: $75+13% Tax per person, please inquire for extra transportation costs at the reception.
- Rate without Tarzan Swing: $50+13% Tax.
- What to bring: Long pants, light clothing, secure shoes, insect repellent and sun block.
- Includes: Safety training and equipment, professional bilingual guides, beverages.
Arenal Mundo Aventura
An authentic adventure in the rainforest that is full of adrenaline and in harmony with the environment.
A 3 km (2 mile) zip line adventure trail takes you to the Pino Blanco waterfall, surrounded by canyons up to 120 meters high (360 feet). The Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato will be waiting for you.
Enjoy the only zip line tour that allows you to fly above the La Fortuna Waterfall, across a 980 meter cable (over a ½ mile!), at a spectacular height.
After the zip line adventure, you will visit the Maleku Cultural Rescue Center. You can then choose to return to the reception desk on horseback (for an additional cost) and enjoy the scenic beauty along the 2 km ride.
