Itinerary
DAY 1.
Welcome to Finca Luna Nueva Lodge. Today you will be able to explore our hotel grounds, enjoy a fresh farm to table Dinner and have a relaxing night’s sleep in the rainforest.
DAY 2.
As the sound of birds awaken you, an ample breakfast buffet will be waiting for you at the restaurant. At 9am the farm tour will start. Here you will learn how we use our resources to run a regenerative farm to table ecolodge. After your tour enjoy a delicious lunch and have free time in the afternoon to take a walk, swim in the pool or relax in our solar heated Jacuzzi.
After Dinner we will meet again at our reception desk at 7 pm, to discover the amazing world of the rainforest at night. While learning about the natural history, you will encounter frogs, birds, ants and other really interesting creatures.
DAY 3.
After breakfast, you will enjoy our Organic Chocolate Tour. Our guide will share with you the history of Cacao while preparing the most delicious hot cocoa, but that’s not all, at the end of the tour you can consider yourself a chocolatier when you prepare the chocolate bars with your favorite toppings.
You will enjoy another delicious meal from our farm and you will have a masseuse at your service for one hour in the afternoon.
DAY 4.
To add a little bit of adventure to your rainforest experience, today you will be visiting one of the most beautiful natural treasures in Costa Rica, the Children’s Eternal Rainforest. It is the largest private reserve in Costa Rica where you can spot the famous Umbrella Bird, golden-plumed Montezuma Oropéndulas and bubbling mud pits where geotechnonic plates collide. Yes, you can rub the hot volcanic mud on your faces! This is an all day tour with lunch included.
DAY 5.
Today we added some more adventure to your itinerary. You can choose from rafting class 2-3 or Canyoneering.
Enjoy lunch after this activity and have some time to buy souvenirs or just walk around. You will be picked up later in the day to take you to the Hot Springs to relax after a day filled with adventure.
