Cow Milking Experience

Can a Glass of Milk Save the Planet?

That’s a serious question, as some people believe that livestock always damage ecosystems and are a big part of the climate crisis. We respectfully disagree. We believe that we’re managing our livestock in a way that regenerates our ecosystem, and on our dairy tour you’ll learn how “holistic management” of livestock can be a part of the climate solution. And, happily, also create delicious milk, cheese, yogurt, kefir, butter, and ice cream!

On our farm tour you’ll have the opportunity to meet members of our dairy herd, do some cow milking, and see how we use the dairy operations to create worm compost and support tilapia aquaculture.
